Software and Logger

Smart Software controls the collection of data. The software processes the data and presents it on the screen as values and graphs. Smart Logger is a collector of data. It has the following inputs: 8 digital I/O, one input for an incremental sensor (for position and speed) and an analogue input. All stopping units and sensors are supplied power from the SM6 AC/DC Power supply and the Smart Logger.

SM2 - Push Button Stop Unit

Used with Smart for Stop Time measurements without electrical connection to Stop circuit of machine. Stop signal given manually. The pushbutton on the underside of the stop unit initiates stop time when it is pressed to measure the stop times of emergency stops, or released, for the measurement of stop times on two-hand units, depending on the position of the pushbutton. Connected to Smart Loggervia 8 pin plug.

SM3 - Relay Contact Stop Unit

Used with Smart for Stop Time measurements with electrical connection to machine. Stop signal is given either manually or automatically. Connection to Smart Logger via 8 pin plug.

SM11 - Stop Flag Unit

Used with Smart for Stop Time/distance measurements. When the unit is activated the flag interrupts the light curtain and stops the machine. Connection to Smart Logger via 8 pin plug. Use SM12 to charge this unit.

SM5 1250/2500 - Linear Transducer

Digital position transducer for connection to Smart. Outputs provide position accuracy of machine part with a resolution of 0.1mm. Housing with magnetic retainers. Thin steel wire with magnet for attachment to moving part. Connected to Smart Logger via 5 pin plug.

SM7 - Rotary Transducer

The transducer SM7 is used for stop timing of rotational machinery parts (turning machine, paper machinery, etc.). Support with ball links and single-knob locking. Magnetic fastener in base with on/off control. Measuring wheel with rubber surface. Connected to Smart Logger via 5 pin plug.
